Piloting the Bay

Course will be held on June 25, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Northside Park Recreation Center, 125th street in Ocean City, Maryland.  This popular course is designed to create a better understanding of the aids to navigation that identify the navigable channels and safe waters between the Little Assawoman, Assawoman, Isle of Wight, Sinepuxent, and Chincoteague Bays.  Cost: $5.00 for Ocean City residents and $8.00 for non-residents.  To register for a course at Northside Park Recreation Center, phone Mr. Craig Southard, 410-250-0125 ext. 5171.

Maryland Boating Basics Course

This is the State of Maryland boating course offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary at two different site locations in the Ocean City, Maryland area.  Each course involves three evenings of instruction from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.  You must attend all three classes to be eligible to take the final examination.

Cost for the following locations:

Northside Park Recreation Center: $15.00 for Ocean City residents and $20.00 for non-residents.

Frontier Town Campground: $3.00
